Personal Stewardship Principles

In the Diocese of Rockford being a disciple can be looked at in some objective and measurable terms:

  • Regular attendance at Sunday Masses and other parish liturgical events.
  • Participating in parish educational and spiritual opportunities for the whole family or for individuals.
  • Taking an active role in helping the less fortunate through various programs in the parish or the community.
  • Contributing a percentage of your income to the support of your parish.
  • Taking time to pray together at home as a family on a regular basis.
  • Regularly using your talents/gifts in the service of various parish, diocesan, or other ministries.
